Independently tested — not by us

MyGolfSpy put the Robera Pro on the course.
Here's what they found.

You just watched real owners on real courses. MyGolfSpy — one of North America's most independent golf-gear testing outlets — took the Robera Pro out too, and wrote the review themselves. We didn't touch a word of it. Read the full, unedited version and judge for yourself.

Follow mode

“Everything I hoped it would be.”

The reviewer walked most of 2025 with his bag on his back. After follow mode, he called it a change to his whole play strategy — clubs there when he needed them, nothing to push or steer.

Camera, not a leash

Sees you — and the trees.

Other "following" carts track a remote in your pocket. The Robera Pro's camera locks onto the golfer. His verdict on the difference: carts without a camera can't see the forest, or the trees.

Stops where you are

Never once ran into him.

He worried the cart might roll into him when he stopped. Across testing it didn't happen a single time — it settled to arm's reach at the console, every time.

Around the trees

Dodged so many he stopped testing it.

Following him around trees and shrubs, the cart avoided obstacles so consistently he gave up trying to make it hit one.

He didn't only praise it

A real review names trade-offs. He flagged the weight — around 40 lb — as the one thing some buyers will wrestle with, and noted the cart can lose traction on steep, wet grass, where he simply switched to easy free-wheel and pushed. We'd rather you read the honest version than a highlight reel.

This is the future!!

After 2 months and 12 rounds, I can give an an honest review. 3 of my friends have the MGI Zip Navigator, and this can do exactly the same thing, but for the same price the AI follow mode is like a free upgrade and it is a game changer. I don't even think about the cart until I get to the green. All of a sudden the MGI Zip Navigator seems old and dated. This is the future.

So eye-catching—it really has a robot-like vibe!

When I’m playing golf, everyone keeps commenting on how amazing it looks, and the colors are so eye-catching—it really has a robot-like vibe! 😉

I’m especially impressed with the remote control. It’s incredibly easy to use, just like any high-performance buggy.

Yesterday, I tested it on an uphill slope with rough, thick grass (both before and after mowing) and compared it to an MGI buggy. I pushed it to the limit on a 30-35 degree incline, and it had a solid grip. I’ll be doing more tests today to see how it performs in the long run.

The follow mode is fantastic! When I walk to the left or right, Robera automatically turns in the right direction.

My second Robera and i am even more impressed

first of all, I was a Kickstarter supporter of this company and love the cart so much that I bought another one and gave my old one to my wife. The new one that I just recently received, has clearly been upgraded from the model that I got. Not only the computer chips are much more responsive, but the cart handles extremely well on the golf course in both hills and on flat surfaces. The new cart has an upgraded battery design, which will prevent the battery from loosening when placed into the console. There was a temporary modification to the original kickstarert cart due to the battery loosening uncertain surfaces. The new one doesn’t have that problem. In addition to the software upgrades, the cart works better than any other electric cart that I have tried. It is stable and travels for full 18 hole round and has battery left over after. The pro shop at my Country Club is so impressed that they will start carrying this cart along the MGI carts. in addition to the great performance the cart folds up nicely and fits in my trunk without a problem, I have upgraded the cart with a seat which makes it function well for those long, hot summer days. I switch back and forth between using the remote and the follow me mode based on where I am on the course and I’ve had no problems in either mode since the remote works from a very long distance away.

A Dandy Golf Cart for daily use (I use it 6 days a week)

Robera has upgraded the sofywarfe and corrected some of the initial design. It is a much improved product and should provide years of use. I use it 6 days each week throughout the year abd total up about 250 miles each month of 5 hilly courses in rastern Tennessee. The improved tire tteas pattern helps in traction and helps in wet grass and hills. Recommended for luing term use and a way to ease the shoulders during the round.

Top-Quality Product with Top-Quality Support

I've been using the Robera Pro since day one, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The product is excellent and works exactly as advertised. It's reliable, easy to use, and has become an essential part of my golfing experience.

The one and only time I needed to contact customer support, I was impressed by how quickly and effectively they responded. The support team was professional, helpful, and resolved my issue without any hassle.

It's rare to find a company that delivers both a great product and outstanding customer service, but Robera has done exactly that. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend the Robera Pro to any golfer looking for a dependable and high-quality solution.

Without hesitation, I would buy it again.

Second Electric Caddy

Overall, its a good caddy. There's definitely a learning curve, but that only takes a few holes to get used to. The only negative is, it doesn't climb hills that well. My MGI zip navigator will climb the same hills with ease, where the Robera struggles and the wheels spin.

Got my dad the Robera Pro for his 68th birthday. Here's what happened.

My dad's been golfing for 40+ years. Lately he's been complaining about fatigue after 9 holes: his back, his knees, the usual "getting older" stuff.

I'd been researching golf caddies for seniors for a while. Didn't want to get him something he'd never use.

3 weeks in, his feedback:
"I played 36 holes last Saturday. 36. I haven't done that in 5 years."
"The follow mode is wild, it just stays behind me like a loyal dog."
"I don't feel wiped out after a round. Actually enjoy walking the course again."

What sold me: The warranty. Some other caddy brands make you register within 45 days of receiving the product to get their "5-year battery warranty, then their caddy dies within 3 years anyway. Technology moves fast. I don't want to be locked into an outdated cart for 3-5 years. Robera's warranty just works. No registration hassle.

If you've got a parent or older friend who loves golf but struggles with the physical side:this might be the best golf-related purchase you can make.

Not sponsored, just a happy son sharing.

I am impressed

I bought the Robera Pro. I have used it for two rounds. My experience has been great. It took me a while to realize that the remote is a far more effective tool to communicate with the cart. While in the follow mode, the follows wit apparently the aid of ai.

The follow function sold me on the product with its ability to follow me through turn and around obstacles.

The Robera Pro makes me look forward to playing.

I enjoy walking without having to constantly manually control the cart.

Great customer service !

Initially I found the cart causing more stress verses less. It was following other people, charging me on the T box and green , marching when I push the follow me mode and losing traction going up hill if the grass was wet. Robera set up a zoom call to address all the issues and I was impressed that they truly care. They will be updating the tires to resolve the traction issue. Most of the other issues were actually user error. As I got to understand the cart more , my rounds have become stress free with the cart. People due talk about the march mode going in the opposite direction . For me this is not an issue. When I walk in marching mode if I want it to go right , I move a little left. You adapt easily to this. Its a great cart and for the money its great value. I found the instructions and videos to be less than adequate. I literally wrote out a manual while I was playing to help those who get the cart to learn it without issues. Hopefully they will find it helpful and adapt my manual to help you avoid the issues I encountered.

Better than most

Bought for the follow feature. I did not want to worry about controlling the cart. It works very well and gets plenty of compliments. Battery life is sufficient for 18. I walk about 6 miles and there are always a few bars left. I have only played a few rounds so far.

The follow feature can get disrupted if another golfer crosses your path. The cart will also freeze if you are walking through an area with multiple obstacles. The cart may end up pressing against or curb if you don’t walk down the middle (a challenge when playing with golfers who use carts).

The remote is fine but could use one button - return to me. There are always a few times when you are far enough from cart that using remote is awkward and you need to walk up to it to engage the blinking on follow me. I haven’t tried “March”

There are a few places where follow me is not optimal on my course (walking from green over curb or crossing one street). The push assist feature seems more like a hassle than anything else. I can’t seem to find the right speed. I just wish there was a “nuetral” option to go manual. I do like that it is nuetral when power is off.

I am waiting for accessories. They are needed.

I recommend it. By the way, using a push cart, I usually let down my game by the 15th hole (hilly course and I am not getting younger). I finish 18 now and feel better and still focused. That will be a difference maker over the season (April through Nov in CT).

Quality Performance

From my initial email contact regarding this purchase until the delivery of the unit, it was professionally accomplished. Having utilized the Robera over the last 2 weeks I am extremely pleased with the unit particularly in follow mode.

Best customer service I've experienced

I have to compliment and Thank all of the Robera Staff for taking care of my warrantied unit. Every time I emailed they responded within 24 hours max. I bothered them a lot with many many emails and they always emailed back with any new information they had. They have provided excellent customer service whenever I needed any help. This might sound like a paid comment but I can assure you that I was one of the early adopters and purchased my unit with my money. I deal with a lot of companies and Robera has been the best regarding timely response and communication. I'm not receiving anything for saying this I just think there are very few companies that are this responsive so when a company does provide excellent service I want to let people know.

Robera

I’ve owned seven golf carts over the past three years. Almost all of them had various issues such as part failures or stopping in the middle of a round, which caused me a lot of stress. I usually play golf 4–5 times a week, walking every round.

The new Robera cart I bought is impressive — the follow function works very smoothly, and I love that it can also be controlled through the web connection.

One of my friends even bought one after seeing mine. I’m not sure how much my opinion matters, but I highly recommend this product.

Excellent Cart

Very Good Machine

I did a ton of study (wrote a 7 page how to buy guide) but ultimately could not resist the cutting edge tech of Robera Pro (the follow me mode, geo fencing and gestures to name a few). Now used it 10 rounds and compared to my second choice which a buddy bought.

Robera's follow me mode is better than the next best alternative. It follows consistently, and in a straight line, and is smoother than the Canadian brand. It does downhill in a smooth motion, not stop/skid, stop/skid like the Canadian brand. The gesture command to take it out of Follow and into Brake mode is superb. Way better than the competition. The fact that you do not need line of sight to the remove (unlike the competition) is also a huge plus in practice, as is not needing a remote to put it on park mode.

Robera is not the best climbing/high terrain, but quite serviceable. It only does 25 degrees v. 40 degrees (not an issue for me) but it spins wheels on wetter grass or steeper hills when the competitor does not. For the most part, going in remote control mode solves these issues as it generally has enough speed in remote mode to get up these hills, but still a minor annoyance.

Marching mode and hazard geo fencing are both a little overrated and not terribly useful in real life. Marching mode is hard to control in practice, doesn't really go in a straight line, and walking left to go right and vice versa is just weird. If you want/like the cart in front of you, it's easier to just use the remote control. Geo Fencing works if you remember to turn it on in the iOS app, but honestly you are not going to drive close to bunkers or lakes. Better to have as a fail safe, but not really necessary.

The battery on Robera Pro is NOT great. One four hour round consistently takes it from 5 bars to 2 bars (each supposed to be 20 percent), and I wold NOT feel at all comfortable trying to get 36 holes out of it. The Canadian competitor was not even one bar less for the exact same round. Robera needs to fix this.

My one customer service experience was shockingly good. Did not expect that.

Bottom line: this is close to, if not, the cutting edge of current tech for commercially available (not Kickstarter) carts. The follow me mode is flawless and better than the competition--even before accounting for gesture control which makes it head and shoulders better. Remote is quite intuitive (unlike the Candadian brand) and has better range too. Robera doesn't fold as small, but it's not terrible on size either. Battery needs improving, especially if they are claiming it can go 8 hours (or 36 holes). It can probably do 36 holes if it's a 3 hour round for 18. You're paying for a follow me cart, and this one is the best/easiest to use in follow mode or remote mode.

Fantastic Cart

I've had my Robera for about six weeks and it has been awesome. Using in follow mode for a hands free round is a game changer for me. I walk close to 45 rounds a year and love my Robera. It gets a ton of looks and questions. Will soon be the go to on the course for many.

Robera pro in Hawaii

I've use my for months now. The only problem I've encountered was sometimes it thinks the cart path is a hazard and it will stop following me. Sometimes when on the course and the fairways are just cut the wheels don't get enough traction. Other than that it works great. The remote function is awesome. I only use that function when I'm not carrying a drink in my hand. Battery life is great I can say it's get me 2 full rounds of golf no problem. The marching function is not the greatest seems a bit to slow moving forward but it works. I live in Hawaii so most of our golf courses are flat but it will still works on more challenging courses. Many people ask me about it and I told them I got it on kickstarter.com. I told them to look out for the second version. Mines works so well I might buy the newer version when releases. If anyone has questions feel free to ask me.

Robera Pro erster Test in Deutschland

Liebe deutschsprachigen Golfer.

Robera Pro Arrived

Construction seems solid. I have only run in the yard, but very easy to handle as a remote or in follow mode. The hand gestures and distance to signal I am still trying to figure out, but overall I am very happy with the unit. Once the weather breaks, I will test on the course. I foresee using the follow mode most on the course, but we will see once it gets warm.

Effortless Maneuvering: Robera's Marching Mode

As an enthusiastic golfer who values efficiency and ease on the course, I found myself drawn to the innovation and flexibility of the reverse function.
With a simple command, the cart effortlessly reverses its direction, enabling smooth travel on narrow paths or slopes.
During usage, I experienced its enhanced control and flexibility, making the game of golf more enjoyable and efficient than ever before.
